ICF is short for Insulating Concrete Forms. Essentially it's a reinforced concrete forming system that combines the formwork, insulation and interior and exterior attachment requirements into one easy to construct system.

ICF's were first introduced in Europe in the 1940's but their popularity has grown dramatically in the states since the mid 1990's. The products have been continuously improved and now are versatile enough to be used in almost every application.

We believe building with ICF's will continue to develop and will very shortly be the construction system of choice, particlarly in hurricane prone areas.

These photos illustrate the construction of a typical floor system. Poured roofs are also possible up to a 4/12 pitch, ensuring a completely enclosed reinforced concrete structure......
